The view of the ocean is amazing from the back of the place.
Dawn has also put in effort to get a travel book for tourist looking for things to due in the are. I found that helpful and a great personal touch.
I would definitely recommended if you are looking for a beautiful quite stay while visiting the Acadia area.

We recently stayed here for one week and enjoyed absolutely everything. The rooms were very clean and comfortable; well decorated. We enjoyed the balcony and fire pit on the Amos Suite with the beautiful view, even during a storm. The breakfast each morning was delicious. However, the staff was the most pleasant thing of the whole trip. Whenever we asked for anything, everyone was so helpful and attentive. We loved it. We plan to stay here again and highly recommend it to everyone!

My husband and I were able to stay in the Elizabeth for our anniversary trip. Dawn was so sweet and very helpful during our stay. The room was lovely and quiet, the grounds were breathtaking, and the breakfast was very tasty! It was a bit stuffy, as the weather was unseasonably warm and the units were already switched to heat, but we were able to open windows and that helped.
We were guests at Captain Nickels Inn for our 50th Wedding Anniversary in October, and the Inn far exceeded our expectations! Dawn and her staff were amazing, and always available if we needed anything. We stayed in the Amos Suite which was not only tastefully decorated, but also had a fireplace, soaking tub, and our own huge private balcony with a gas fire pit which overlooked the beautifully manicured grounds and the ocean. Breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented. We could not have imagined such a breathtaking place. We stayed 3 nights but I would love to stay longer next time. Captain Nickels Inn was perfect.
